Iuse a Quest 2. This only happens with Assetto Corsa. It works perfectly normal in Project Cars 2, Automobilista 2, even ACC. VR in the headset works fine, but I can't record anything due to the square frame in the rendering on the monitor. I've tried using the "OpenVR" output instead of the "Oculus Rift" output in AC settings, but it didn't Whichsuggests its not an Assetto Corsa issue with the Rift S. I use CM, Oculus (not SteamVR or OpenVR), SS at 1.5, ASW switched off, Sol mod PP effects, and most ingame setting high or more. I don't always get constant 80 fps. It depends on the combination, number of AI, which weather etc, but I don't really notice when it drops.
Hello I dont know what happened with Assetto Corsa, but just yesterday with my Rift S or Rift CV1 and using the content manager set for Oculus, Soon as I go to launch to the track, my VR viewing goes to a black screen inside the headset. Something hiccupped but I dont know what. I know the game is still working cause the track and car is being
ContentManager crashes my vr. I've been trying to get content Manager to work for over 8 hours now, everything runs fine on my PC, the wheel, shifter, display, pedals, everything except for my oculus rift s. I've tried moving the my assetto Corsa directory and renaming it assetto Corsa and renamed the original file "original".

Rift has two different software systems that ensure smooth head rotation, positional tracking and moving objects when you cannot meet the 90fps

ACCGood VR settings (GTX 1070Ti, Oculus Rift S) Assetto Corsa Competizione in VR is a difficult one, but it can be done in my experience and opinion. Here is a 2 minute guide on Istarted VR with Oculus Rift and then moved on to WMR. I have been using Open VR with AC/Content Manager for several years, first with Oddyssey Plus and now with G2. TheRX570 is a solid 1080p card, but I'm not sure how well it will run with a Rift. If you measure your fps at 1920x1080, it will drop by around 25% at the effective 2160x1200 resolution of the Rift, and you ideally want to keep the frame rate pinned to 90fps or above to match the Rift's 90Hz refresh rate. Ctrl+Space resets view or push look left+look right buttons togther to reset orientation in VR. Last edited by Mr Crisp ; Aug 27, 2016 @ 7:21am. #3.
