The best suggestion is to set your playstyle a certain way and then have your friend search for that playstyle. No idea what Capcom was thinking on that one. That is literally twitter interpreting things in their own way. You can take anything anyone says, make up an interpretation, and cry "Violence!" Boards.

Due to the glitchy nature of co-op, it might be wise to restrict your co-op playthrough to the story and survivor/psycho achievements, while keeping most others for solo playthroughs, most notably

DJ_break_beats 9 years ago #6. Invite your friend into a "Party Chat", once in the party chat and successfully talking, load game and Start Chapter 1. Once you are in the game, hit start in game and select "Invite party to game". If both your connections are OPEN NAT, and you can chat together you shouldn't have any problems connecting in game.
Is the entire game co-op? The new DLC is and it's awesome (except for the terrible saving problem. my buddy gets disconnected everytime I save.) Does it still do it on the actual game if it is co-op?
